So after new years everyone was Posting about what they have accomplished in the last 10 years. It definately got me thinking what I have I done.
Truthfully if you had asked me at age 15 where I would be in 10 years I would have said married with at least one child if not two. Yeah that is not my life at all haha. Right now I am in a blah stage of life: 25 living with parents, single (no prospects I know NO single men), working a job I don’t see as my career, I think I found my career but see no way of getting to do it full time. And while I am not too excited about the stage of life I am in I know god is in control and I shouldn’t worry or cry because I think i am going to be alone for the rest of my life (might have happened a few hours ago). Haha. Dramatic Much?
But I have had some successes:
1. Got my drivers license
2. Graduated from high school
3. Got my first job
4. Went away to college for two years
5. Went to New York
6. Went to New Zealand and Australia (mission trip)
7. Went to Alaska (mission trip)
8. Went to Rwanda (missions trip)
9. Grew in the relationship with God
10. Graduated College
11. Made some amazing life long friends at college
12. Gave up some friendships that I never thought I would
13. Started teaching Jr. High biblestudy and absolutely loving it. (I don’t see myself as a great public speaker)
14. Bought a DSLR
15. Started to prusue doing photography as a career
Some are bigger than others and some will last eternally and some are superficial. These 10 years have FLOWN by and I am so greatful for all the things I have been through the good and the bad. Bring on the next 10 years!
